Vegas Baby!

We did it again this year. We decided that since the only vacation we got last year was a short weekend getaway to Vegas last January that we would do it again this year, so last minute we decided to hop in the car and head to Vegas for a weekend and it was awesome. We ended up leaving Friday morning and got a great deal at Treasure Island, which is my favorite hotel thus far. We got into town at 5:00 and didn't do anything too exciting that first night. We went to a buffet and ate way too much food, and then came back to the hotel and enjoyed our nice room! We watched some TV and just relaxed and went to bed early that night. Saturday we got up nice and early and hit the town. We got breakfast at our usual Paris Buffet and then started our shopping excursion. We always have to hit the outlet mall and the premium outlet mall, which makes for a lot of walking which is good so we don't feel AS bad about all of the buffets! After breakfast we stopped at a pawn shop- and this deserves it's own post so I'll post about this next!! After that we hit the malls and got some fun things. Michael got another nice new suit and I got 5 pairs of walking shoes!! (deal of the century at Reebok!!) About 6 hours later we stopped for dinner and tried a new buffet at the Rio- it's their seafood buffet. And it was heaven. All you can eat lobster tails and crab legs. Michael and I both decided we are going to live there!! Then Sunday we headed back on the road around 11:30. We made a few more stops on the way home this time to try to break up the long drive. We ended up getting home around 7:00. Just in time to get back to "real life" and do laundry and dishes! We had a very sweet neighbor that checked on our girls for us, which we really appreciated! It was short and sweet, but lots of fun! Gotta love Vegas, baby!
