Book of the Month- January

Ok so I have learned that I hate telling people my goals because I almost always fail at them!! Yes, I am that lame. But, I'm hoping this one I can keep and do well with. It really should not be that hard!!
I have decided to read one book each month. I have quite a few friends that are ALWAYS reading something and if not one something- 2 or 3 somethings at a time! I figure the least I can do is ONE a month. So, for January I chose Dr. Laura's book- The Proper Care & Feeding of Marriage. I have read one of her other books- The Proper Care & Feeding of Husbands and absolutely loved that book. So I am giving this one a whirl. I have recently started listening to her radio show and though I dont always agree with the way she handles things or how harsh she is with people- I do agree with a lot of her principles. Wish me luck- Book 1 of 12.

By the way, if anyone has some good suggestions on books I'd love to hear them. I generally am more into self help/biographies/or true crime. But I think a novel or two might be picked for book of the month!

Oh my gosh! My mom bought me "The proper care and feeding of husbands" because she said it's the best book ever. I love Dr Laura :)
By the way, I just noticed that our blog backgrounds are the same....haha, good taste! How did you find one that doesn't say "happy holidays" on it though? Lucky.
Hope all is well!

I'm reading the Hunger Games right now. All the girls that loved twilight are into it. I'm in chapter 3 and loving it.
