Michael and I had a really fun day, and boy did we need it. We woke up early and went out for our first day of garage sales for the year. We hit a few and they weren't that great so we decided to head home. We stopped at one last one that we passed on the way home and we SCORED!! We found some really neat old cameras. We are so excited about them and can't wait to find a place for them in the new home. LOVE them!!

Then after garage sales we came home and got ready. We headed out to the new house and stopped at the Hollywood Video out there that is going out of business. We LOADED up on DVDs. When we stopped a week or two ago they were down to about 3-4 bucks a piece and today they were like 83 cents each and they still had a pretty good collection. We got 50+ today, which is nice because we just went through all our VHS tapes and decided to sell all of them at the garage sale, so now we got a good start on a DVD collection at the price of about 2 new DVDs. You should check it out if you haven't already.
Then we stopped at the yummy Mexican restaurant out there again and had some lunch (have I mentioned that i'm obsessed with their chips and salsa??). Then we decided to take a little drive around the area and try to get a little more familiar with it. Michael was in mid sentence of saying that he thought we had made a good compromise on city for me and country for him when we ran into this:

We also saw chickens, cows, goats, horses...

I'm thinking our compromise is in his favor :) It was a nice drive. The weather was beautiful and it was fun to just hang out with my sweet hubby. After our drive we headed to the house to hang out. Nothing new happened since we were there Thursday night but we stayed a bit talking about what we wanted to do in different rooms and the yard and all of that. It was fun. Then when we got home we worked on packing a bit more. We're getting there. We are less then a month out before moving day. WAHOO!

Wahoo! Your house is looking beautiful! And cool finds. I may have to stop by that video store. So it's the hollywood video in eagle mountain?

By the way, Scott told me you guys stopped by with a really cute baby sign. Thank you for being so thoughtful. I told Scott afterward he should've kept it so we could put it up in her room. If you haven't thrown it away, I'd love to have it. If you have, then no worries and thanks for thinking of us. You guys are so sweet.

If you ever see any more old cameras, or decide to get rid of the ones you bought let me know for sure. I'd love to do Chases office in old camera stuff.
