So I've been meaning to blog about Sophie and her friend Husky for awhile. I'm sure only dog people out there will appreciate this blog, and the rest will just think I'm crazy, but here it goes.
We got this stuffed animal about 2 years ago at walmart thinking nothing of it except it's yet another stuffed animal for her to destroy. For some reason she has no desire to. Every single other stuffed animal she is given she shreds to pieces within a few days, but Husky has remained in tact (with a few rips to the ears only). She consistently is found in the house with just her mouth completely latched on to husky's nose and her paws wrapped around his neck. We aren't sure if she's kissing him or giving him hugs or both. It is absolutely the sweetest thing. She is very protective of him and we are convinced he will never be destroyed. She is rarely more then a few feet away from him- she always wants to be right by him, and when we say "where's husky?" she runs to get him.Why the love for this stuffed animal and not the others we will never know but it is the sweetest thing to watch! (by the way, her Christmas present, Blue, has lost both of his ears entirely and is working on losing his eye's!)
This is another sweet picture of Soph that I took about 2 weeks ago. All dressed up and no place to go. Don't all dog's wear pearls around the house? I think her green devil eyes give you a clue of how much she enjoyed wearing those pearls.

Oh what a sweet heart! Husky is lucky to still have his life, Gus would have killed him right away and been in stuffing heaven.
