A few weeks ago 4 of us ladies went to the parade of homes and it was so much fun! I haven't been in years, but Jen and Emily make it a tradition to go each year- and this year they allowed me and Christine to crash their party. We saw some amazing houses. I left wanting a B-ball court, a hibachi grill- outdoors- 3 BIG screen TVs in each room of the house, an indoor AND outdoor pool, a dance studio, a slide to get downstairs, a movie theater complete with a popcorn and candy bad and an indoor fire pit for pizza's and tap for homemade root beer and to top it all off- a walk in shower that has 8+ shower heads and goes from one room to another. I quickly remembered why I don't go to this event each year! I leave GREEN with envy every time. BUT, I did come home with quite a bit of inspiration on colors and other things I want to do with our house... just on a much different scale :)
