Well, I am getting bored from not working. I am one of those people, I think, that needs to be working and keep busy. So the fun is wearing off, unfortunately. I have been spending my days applying for jobs (which, because we still don't have Internet I go into town to the coffee shop most days) and trying to come up with things to do that wont cost much money. I decided I would make blackberry jam the other day and that was fun, plus it turned out delish!!

And I had good company! Lazy bone dogs!!

Also, last weekend my aunt and 3 of my cousins came into town from Texas. It was fun to see them. Usually when family comes into town I'm at work and miss most of the fun, so this was nice to spend several days with them. On Sunday they came up along with my uncle, mom and grandma to see the new house. We also went down to the
cemetery again (it's just down the street) since they hadn't been to it since the burial 11 years ago. It was really nice. We all talked about things we remember about my grandpa and about the funeral and things. It was really nice. And it was
absolutely GORGEOUS there. The sky was filled with black clouds and thunder and lightning the entire time, but no rain. It was so much fun. Then back to the house for better than sex cake and ice cream for dessert.
And if you couldn't tell, I'm not doing so good on the no baking sweets!!

Here is a picture from the cemetery.
A few days before that Michael and I went to the fair in our neighborhood. It was fun. We didn't spend a dime and just enjoyed walking around. And, BONUS I got to hold a cute guys hand the whole time. Not too shabby!

And last but not least- update on Little Miss. She is doing
OK. Her back has started to heal. The doctor did warn us it would get worse before it got better and he was right! It went from having a couple spots that looked like blisters to an entire section of her back losing the skin. A couple of those spots are now regrowing new skin and healing well, but still a fairly big section waiting to fall off and start regrowing new skin. Her back is really itchy now with all the healing going on and so she is always trying to scratch it to death which I worry about her getting it too bad, so the other day I gave her a nice warm bath and just had her soak in the warm water hoping that would help, and it seemed to, thankfully! The doctor said he wasn't sure how well everything will look once it heals completely. She may have some bald spots and patches and stuff, but we'll see. She is beautiful and precious!
