It's official

I am obsessed with building our food storage. It's true. My mom hooked me onto two different websites too which is making my addiction even worse. The first one is all recipes made of food storage items. The second one is the kicker! They do the work for you and rate all of the sales deal into categories of OK, good, and amazing deals- so then you know when it's an amazing deal you need to stock up big time. Also, my mom said you can bring this one piece of paper showing all of the deals and what stores the deals are at- take that to walmart and they honor them! Hello one stop shopping!! How much more simple can it be? She also has a blog of recipes using the items that are on sale each week and also frequently asked questions which range from shelf life to clipping coupon pro's and cons. This site is truly amazing. It does cost a fee each month of like 5 dollars and it's a month to month thing so if it isn't working for you, you can cancel at any time. But it's true, I am addicted!! This lady is my food storage hero!
Here are a few pictures of our growing food storage!!

And yes, to the right of the picture

is Sophie's food storage of puppy bones.

We can't forget the most important item!!

I see how it is. You have a yardsale to get rid of stuff so that I will help you move (when you do) but replace it all with stuff twice as heavy. Hmmmmm. Was this a conscious thought to torture me?

This looks fabulous. It is so fun to watch you get excited about food storage. I like to think of it as a store in my basement that I use from everyday, instead of food stored for when we have an earthquake. The whole thing gives me such peace of mind. And I feel more like cooking when I know I have what I need on hand. Good for you!
